ian tyrrell

Ian was born in England and initially trained as a graphic designer. He moved to South Africa in the early 1960’s and worked as studio manager for a national newspaper, before becoming an art director for an advertising agency. Later he started his own design company.

Throughout this time he has been an illustrator and visualiser, providing concept sketches through to finished art work. Ian currently designs book covers and illustrates children’s books.

Commissions are regularly undertaken.

Ian lives in Arundel, West Sussex, England.
